Store concept design for national mobile services provider TIM. Simplicity and transparency allow the products to take centre stage and let the stores evolve with the technology on display. The use of modular islands enables several configurations depending on the size of individual stores without altering the concept. The scheme seeks to offer a sense of homeliness through the choice of domestic style furniture and lighting, while combining this “home feeling” with high tech display strategies: ZonarSound loudspeakers, interactive touchscreens and high definition video displays. The materials were chosen for their sustainability, e.g. the solid wood flooring can be assembled without adhesives and can be lifted and reused for optimal Life Cycle Management
