Transforming an agricultural barn and a stable into a luxury Spa was certainly one of the interesting challenges presented by the redevelopment of this Island of Sacca Sessola. The refurbishment of the barn retains and emphasizes the composition of the existing structure adapting it to the building’s new function. The traditional model of the agricultural barn, has been certaily reinterpreted.

Finally the Spa programme continues in the adjacent ex-stable building where a careful restoration of the brick walls and the reconstruction of the roof allowed the introduction of five “boxes”.  Each box correspondes to a treatment room and they all feature a private external garden with views to Venice.
